Letter to my BGC students ( May 2012)
July 19, 2012
Dear BGC students,
Hi Hannah, Heny, Katarina, Lowell, Shine, Jessie, Kimberly, Ellen, Clover, Binny, and Chloe. How are you? I miss all of you. I¡¯m doing fine here in the Philippines, but I really miss our time together. (Actually, Ellen and Jessie are still here in LLC, in the Philippines with me).
Although it has been over a month since we last saw each other, I can still remember some of our moments together.
Do you still remember our ¡°Concentration¡± song? Kkkk.
Do you still remember when we went on our Manila trip? It rained too hard that time. We all got wet, but we still continued our trip. In Intramuros, we visited a traditional Filipino mansion, a European-style church, and we stayed in Rizal Park until it was dark to see the musical fountain dancing with colorful lights. I can still remember your good reaction as you saw that fountain. We were all happy that time.
Do you still remember our bamboo dance workshop? All of you had no idea how to dance that traditional Filipino dance, but you all tried to participate. Some of you were very scared of the clapping bamboo poles, but in the end, all of you successfully danced.
Do you still remember the way I drank coffee in our morning classes? Some of you even copied the way I drank. I remember Ellen started it, and others such as Chloe and Katarina also made fun of my drinking style. Kkkk.
There are so many other things that I remember whenever I think of you guys. And I do think of you frequently, because whenever I look at my black-and-white wristwatch, I remember you! Thank you so much for that and for all of the happy memories we have made together.
I hope you keep on learning about the English language¡¦
Take care of your health and enjoy life.
Love,
Teacher Ryan
